Visiting this website
The public website does not include advertising trackers, analytics scripts, embedded third-party media. Its hosting systems may record technical request information such as IP address, requested page, browser information and request time for delivery, reliability and security. Choosing a light or dark appearance saves that preference in your browser’s local storage; you can clear it in your browser settings.
Contacting Chyve
When you email us, we receive your email address and the information you choose to send. We use it to answer the enquiry, provide support or discuss a service. Please avoid sending passwords, payment-card details or unnecessary information about your own customers. Clicking an email link opens your email application; the website does not send a message on your behalf.
Founding applications and return access
Questionnaire answers stay in your browser until you send an application. On submission, we save your business details, website or profile, current services, where your records live, goals, package preferences, email and any optional name or phone number. We use these to review your fit, plan requested migration or listing work and contact you about your application. Please do not submit passwords, payment-card details or your customers’ records.
We email a short-lived, single-use sign-in link so you can verify your address and return to your saved application. Essential security cookies protect submission and maintain your application session. The application is private; it does not publish a listing or create a paid subscription. An individually approved onboarding invitation is shown only in your signed-in application.
If you select approval texts, we record your phone number, the wording of that permission and its time. That permission is for the application-approval notification, not marketing. Listing preparation is a separate optional choice. You can turn off those permissions or delete the application when signed in, or contact box@chyve.net. Applications are retained for up to 180 days unless they are deleted sooner or their details are transferred into an agreed customer relationship; backups may take longer to expire. Hosting and email systems process information needed to store the application and deliver access links.
Account and billing information
If you become a customer, Chyve uses business and contact details, service selections, invoices, payment status and support correspondence to provide and administer the service. Chyve uses billing services to administer subscriptions and Stripe to process payments when selected for your order. Payment providers process payment and fraud-prevention information under their own privacy terms. Do not email card details to Chyve.
AI help and connected publishing
When you use AI assistance, your prompt and the relevant business information are processed to provide a response or draft. Use only information you are authorized to share, and avoid including passwords, card details or unnecessary personal information. Review generated material before using or publishing it.
Connecting a Google or Meta destination allows the selected publishing service to receive the posts and media you approve. Those providers handle published content and audience interactions under their own terms. Your account controls the selected destinations and connection permissions; disconnecting does not automatically remove content already published.
Your food-business records
Food Operations records belong to the business operating that installation. Chyve’s own account and subscription records are separate from that business’s customers and food orders. Hosting, requested support and selected connections can require access to relevant information. The agreed setup determines those responsibilities. A shopper should contact the food business shown on its order for questions about that business’s handling of information.
Who helps us provide the service
Hosting, email, billing and payment providers process information needed for their roles. We may also disclose information where required by law, to protect security or to resolve a dispute. Chyve does not sell personal information or use business records for advertising audiences. Links to other websites take you to services governed by their own notices.
How long information is kept
Information is kept for the purpose for which it is needed, including handling an enquiry, providing a service, keeping required billing records and resolving security or legal matters. Retention depends on the record and applicable obligations; deletion may be limited by those obligations and by backup retention. Contact us for the information relevant to your account or request.
Your choices and requests
Email box@chyve.net to ask about your information, request a correction, or request access or deletion. We may need to verify your identity and authority before disclosing or changing account information. We explain any limits that apply to a request. This notice does not limit rights available to you under applicable privacy law.
