Start outside your admin session
Open the public ordering address as a customer would. Check the business name, item descriptions, images and prices. Use a phone as well as a larger screen and confirm that the most important information remains readable.
Try the choices
Select a representative item and review quantities, available options and fulfillment methods. Check the date, time, location and collection or delivery instructions. A time that is no longer available should not be treated as a guaranteed commitment.
Test payment deliberately
Use the payment provider's supported test arrangement or an explicitly agreed live test. Do not enter made-up card details into a live checkout. Check the resulting order and payment records separately; a cart or confirmation page alone is not proof of settlement.
Check the handoff
Make sure the team knows where the order appears and how to carry it through preparation and fulfillment. Review the information the customer receives. Fix misleading instructions before sharing the link publicly and repeat the affected part of the test.
