Define the work
Identify the agency contact, the business and the tasks they will perform. Website content, domain management, billing and customer operations may require different permissions. Put the agreed responsibilities in writing before granting access.
Use individual accounts
Invite the authorized person through the supported membership or access-request process. Check the email address and scope before confirming. Do not send your owner password or an administrative provider credential as a shortcut.
Verify the boundaries
Ask the agency to confirm it can reach the intended business and only the tools needed for the job. Keep customer data exposure proportionate to the work. A grant in Chyve does not automatically authorize access to your registrar, mailbox or payment provider.
Review and revoke
Revisit access when the project changes or ends. Remove the relevant membership or grant and separately check external accounts and shared files. Retain the work and recovery information your business needs without leaving unnecessary privileged access active.
