Check the purpose
An onboarding invitation starts a business setup journey. A membership invitation gives access to an existing business. Read the message before accepting so you know which task you are completing and which email address was invited.
Use the intended account
Open the invitation in a browser where you can sign in with the intended email. Complete the verification requested on screen. If another person is signed in, sign out before proceeding rather than accepting for them. Keep the link private.
Confirm your starting point
After continuing, check the business and setup details shown. Stop if the invitation is for an unfamiliar organization or a setup you did not request. Acceptance is not proof that hosting, a domain or payments are ready.
Expired or already used links
Use the recovery or return option shown by Chyve, or ask for help with the invitation email and approximate time. Do not forward the link to a colleague as a way of inviting them. A colleague needs their own authorized invitation.
