Use Food Operations without online ordering

Organize kitchen work without opening a customer checkout.

Choose your workflow

A business may use stock, recipes, preparation and cost information without selling through a website. Identify the records you actually need and who will maintain them. Do not turn on a public sales path just to use internal kitchen tools.

Build the internal records

Start with consistent ingredient names and measurement units, then add recipes and realistic yields. Record receipts and corrections so the balances reflect actual work. Keep customer-facing products separate from ingredients and packaging.

Review the day

Use the available kitchen records to plan quantities and understand what changed. Keep records of offline commitments in the process your team has agreed. Do not assume an unconnected till or marketplace automatically updates Chyve.

Add ordering later

If you decide to take orders online, review products, fulfillment, hours, capacity and payment setup together. Check the customer journey before sharing a sales link. A working internal inventory does not prove that checkout or payment processing has been connected.
