Request and manage advanced website access

Match access to the work you need without sharing privileged credentials.

Updated

Describe the task

Explain what you need to change and why ordinary website editing is insufficient. Include the website and the person who will do the work. A specific task is easier to assess than a request for unrestricted access to everything.

Request through your workspace

Use the available advanced-access request route or contact support for the website. A request is not a grant. Wait for confirmation of the permitted scope and any responsibilities that come with it before attempting the work.

Work within the grant

Use the authorized account and only the access needed for the agreed task. Keep a record of changes and arrange a suitable backup or recovery route before high-impact work. Avoid installing unfamiliar extensions or changing security controls without understanding the consequences.

Close the access loop

When the work is finished, review whether access is still needed and revoke it through the supported process if not. Removing workspace access may not remove separate external accounts. Confirm those independently, and report any unexpected continuing access.
